Crucial differences between a Notary and Notario
The "Noatrio" profession does not exist in the United States. A "Notario" is a highly trained legal professional in many Latin Countries. Notarios are similar to attorneys as they can provide legal advice and draft legal documents in their countries. The United States has state-commissioned officials who are title Notary Publics which witness signatures and administer notarial oaths. Notary Publics are strictly prohibited from providing legal advice or preparing or completing legal documents.

Bilingual Notaries
Our team of Notaries are bilingual Spanish speaking, professional and experienced. If you or your client does not speak English, then you will need a Bilingual Notary Public.
As Notary Publics we must determine if the signer is alert and that they are signing of their own volition (they are not signing under duress). We must also evaluate if the client is alert and aware that they are signing a document that may have an important legal impact. In doing so, the Notary must be able to communicate with the client. This is where a Bilingual Notary is crucial. If a Notary cannot communicate with the signer, then we are not able to determine the signers condition at the time of signing. Further, when required the Notary must administer the oath in the language the signer understands.
While not required, it is also helpful when the Notary can read documents written in a foreign language.
